Malik Basintale noted that the running mate of the New Patriotic Party Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh claimed even God sleeps at night.

According to Malik Basintale, John Mahama is bringing the 24-hour economy policy because his God does not sleep and will protect Ghanaians for 24 hours.

Speaking to the members of Assemblies of God when he worshipped with them, he stated, “I came with one question, and I will ask Reverand, the NPP’s running mate Napo he says even God almighty sleeps at night I am coming to ask you reverend, does God really sleep?”

“Napo says even God in heaven sleeps at night, how can you God who sleeps at night, the God of John Mahama who work for 24 hours, Reverand because John Mahama God does not sleep at night, he says we will work 24 hours and his God will protect us 24 hours that is why he is bringing the 24-hour economy”, Malik Basintale detailed.

Malik Basintale further reiterated, “Today the wahala we find ourselves in does not know Christians, it does not know Muslims, it does not now traditionalists, all it knows is that the wahala was bestowed on us by Alhaji Bawumia”.
