Incoming Manchester United boss, Rúben Amorim has described the English Premier League as one of the difficult leagues in the world.
Although the Premier League may be difficult, Rúben Amorim says he is “ready for the challenge.”
“When I arrive to the Premier League, it is a different world, different pressure”. “It will be fun, very fun, and I’m ready for the challenge,” he said.
His comment comes after his last game with Sporting CP on Tuesday night where they beat Manchester City 4-1 in the Champions League game.
Rúben Filipe Marques Amorim is a Portuguese professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Primeira Liga club Sporting CP. He has been appointed as head coach of Premier League club Manchester United effective 11 November 2024, subject to work visa requirements.
He takes over from Erik ten Hag who had his contract terminated by Manchester United for not meeting expectations.
