The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has through a press release announced its intention to embark on a stay home plan following delays in the construction of a salary structure and conditions of service for staff.

The Circular signed by the executive secretary of the association, Isaac Bampoe Addo states that, their decision to go on strike arises from what they describe as failure on the side of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission to ensure that a new salary structure is drawn for staff. By this failure the association has withdrawn its engagements with the Boss of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission.

According to them, the Chief Executive of the Salary Commission, Mr. Benjamin Arthur has acted in bad faith with the association after an agreement was reached that by October 31, a new salary structure will be drawn.
