Godsbrain Smart, populary known in the media space as Captain Smart has descend unto the NPP caucus in Parliament over their recent Parliament sitting boycott.
According to him, the NPP’s boycott signals a level of unseriousness in the leadership owing to the fact that, they had the Speaker recall Parliament and when it was time for sitting, they boycotted it. He said the aftermath of the boycott strongly affirmed that, there is no effective leadership in the NPP Parliamentary caucus.
Minister for Trade and Industries and Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa also came under attack b Captain Smart, describing him as an apology to the Islam Religion in the country. He said the demeanor of the Minister during Afenyo Markin’s Press briefing was uncalled for and depicted a disgraceful leadership.
Captain made these attacks on the new Alhaji in parliament saying if he has the position of the Chief Imam, he would have stripped the Trade Minister off his Islam identity. He also accused the former Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and Member of Parliament for Bekwai, Joseph Owusu for being the master mind behind the Parliament crisis.
