According to reports he died on November 2, 2024, in the United Kingdom.
Clement Quartey was the senior brother of Ike Bazooka Quartey.
The Ghana Boxing Authority has confirmed the death of the legendary boxer at the age of 86.
The cause of his unfortunate demise has not been revealed yet.
Clement Quartey is regarded as one of the pioneers of boxing in Ghana after he won Ghana’s first-ever Olympic medal in 1960.
