The member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram Sam George has stated boldly on live TV that the presidential candidate of the NPP Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to Sam George, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a dishonest lying politician when he asserted that the Ghana Card will be recognized as an electronic passport in 197 countries and accepted at 44,000 airports worldwide by 2022.
Speaking on TV3 New Day Sam Goerge stated, “You cannot use a Ghana card to travel from Accra to Togo, so you see when I tell you that Bawumia is a scammer, he is a scammer a con artist, look they can sit here and say Sam George is insulting”.
“When they said Mahama was incompetent and called him all kinds of names, that one they said were describing him, today when you describe them in the very way that they are carrying out their activities then they say boeei”, he added.
Contrary to widespread belief, Sam George further clarified that it was not former President John Agyekum Kufuor who brought Bawumia to the central bank, but rather Dr. Kwabena Duffour.
“Let me tell you something it is not true that President Kufuor was the one who brought Bawumia to the Bank of Ghana, Bawumia was picked as a research assistant and put in the research department by Dr. Duffour it was not President Kufuor”, Sam George detailed.
He further added that Bawumia’s thesis for his PHD that made him a doctor was on the economic transformation of Ghana’s economy under President Rawlings.
