Bantama traders endorse Dr. Bawumia as they rally behind the Free SHS policy

Traders at the Bantama market in Kumasi have endorsed the New Patriotic Party presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to the traders, Ghanaians should vote for the NPP and Bawumia in the December polls because of the Free SHS policy and its impact on education in Ghana.

Speaking to the UTV, a trader stated, “The elections this year, I have not been to school before, and it didn’t help me, it has helped, we learn to become somebody, so we are begging you, the elderly and young ones vote for the NPP government”.

Another trader added, “Those who went for free education, they gave birth to them free in the NPP government during Kufuor time, those same people have been the ones to enjoy the Free SHS so women let’s open our eyes, we all should go and vote for number 1 the NPP government”.

One trader also revealed that 5 of her children have benefited from the Free SHS policy, saying, “I am a mother five of my children have benefitted from Free education, they went to good schools, and I didn’t pay anything when he is going, I just give them provisions and 200 cedis, I am begging women and Ghanaians we are begging you number 1.
