The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has hit back at John Mahama’s stupid comment directed towards him.
John Mahama speaking to Ghanaians on a campaign platform replied to Dr. Bawumia’s 50 questions saying, “Today I am repeating those words this election is about the economy, stupid, it is not about all those other useless things, answer the five simple questions”.
According to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, John Mahama is scared and knows he is losing the December polls, so he has started badmouthing him.
Speaking on a campaign platform, Dr. Bawumia said, “A lot of people have seen what is going to happen, so they are afraid, they know they have lost the elections, they are scared”.
“Have you seen they have started badmouthing, Asante people have a proverb that long talks do not buy a horse, but I will add that ‘Atɛmdidie ɛntɔ pɔnkɔ’ (badmouthing does not buy a horse)”, he added.
Dr. Bawumia further added, “You can badmouth for so long, but you would still lose the elections, the reason why the NPP is winning the elections is because of the work we have done, it is not because of anything, it is the work that we have done”.
The NPP flagbearer revealed that Ghanaians, are going to vote in the December polls for him because of the work he has done in office.
