The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has declared that a vote for NPP’s Bawumia is a declaration of being happy about the hardship in the country.
According to John Mahama, Ghanaians must learn from the bad governance under Nana Addo for 8 years after Ghanaians sold their color TV for black and white TV in the 2016 elections when the voted out the NDC.
John Mahama stated on a campaign platform, “The lies they told us in 2016, and we voted out the NDC and we sold our color TV for a black and white TV we must learn from it. I have said that anyone who votes for Bawumia, the things that happened in the country for 8 years you were happy with it, anyone who votes for Bawumia means our economic challenges, our debts, and the hardships you are happy with it”.
John Mahama noted that Ghanaians must learn lessons from the 8 years under President Akufo-Addo as the Israelites experienced under Pharoah in Egypt in the Bible.
“God made children Iseal go and live under Pharoah in Egypt, and they suffered when it got to the point, he was going to get them out of there, he could have gone for them, but he sent Moses and Aaron to tell Pharoah to let his children leave”.
“God later turned back and made Pharoah’s heart harden not to let his children leave, all this he was testing his children to see. So, in the 8 years we have been through, God is testing us so we will learn from it”, he added,
John Mahama added that Ghanaians must vote out the NPP for the economic challenges, debts, and hardship they put them through and a vote for Bawumia is a vote for Akufo-Addo to continue.
