National Organizer for the governing New Patriotic Party, Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known a Nana B has rejected connections of Kamala Harris’s defeat to that of Dr. Bawumia in the coming election in Ghana, saying America has never been ready for a female President.
In an interview with neat F.M’s Ghana montie, reacting to the development in the United States Presidential election, the National Organizer stated categorically that, Trump’s possible victory even signals a string projection for the NPP and not what the opposition is linking them to. He said the United State for now is just not ready for a female President.
“America is not just ready for a female President. We had an interaction when we visited Memphis with the running mate for the NPP and clearly the responses they shared indicated that, they are not ready for a female President now. Maybe in the future but for now they are not ready”, he said.
According to him, the NPP aligns itself with the ideologies of that of Trump’s Republican party, so if dynamics are to be put into perspective, Trump’s victory is a huge victory for the NPP if that argument is to be used as a decider. He maintained that, the election is won based on personalities and the presidential status of the candidates.
“If you are to use this as an argument then it is clear to say the NPP will win this election because we share the same ideologies and beliefs just the republicans. We have aligned with republicans for a very long time, so if to say the American election result will determine Ghana’s outcome, then NPP will win”, he added.
