President Akufo-Addo has praised the elder brother of Nana Kwame Beidako, Kwaku Ofosu Bediako for building the iconic $250m new Bank of Ghana headquarters.
The president at the commission of the new BoG headquarters on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, heaped praises on Kwaku Ofosu Bediako the executive director of Goldkey Properties Limited who executed the 22-storey high architectural masterpiece.
According to President Akufo-Addo, the new headquarters of the Bank of Ghana is a pivotal step in modernizing the nation’s financial infrastructure.
President Akufo-Addo also added, “We must also commend the architect, engineers, and contractors, this iconic structure built by a Ghanaian entity Kwaku Ofosu Bediako’s Goldkey Properties Limited, their creativity and expertise and perseverance”.
The $250m new Bank of Ghana headquarters contains of three main blocks, the Tower, Urban and Amenities Blocks including basements, podiums, and ancillary facilities.
