In an interview with TV3, Sam George as he is popularly called shared that, Nana Addo’s government has benefited fully from the funding of the LGBTQ groups both in Ghana and across the globe. He shared that benefiting from their money as a President of a country that seeks to criminalize their acts makes you an ally of theirs.

Sam George who is a leading coverner of the Family Values Bill passed by parliament early this year to criminalize the practice of LGBTQ in the country shared also that, he has since known that the President will never sign the bill to become law due to his ally status with them. He argued that President Akufo-Addo will rather die than to take a stand against the LGBTQ group and their practice in the country.

He further mentioned that, his Intel shows that the President has given the LGBTQ group his commitment to take stand against the bill passed by parliament, therefore with a gun to his head, the president will rather die than to be against his LGBTQ people.

Meanwhile, court has set December 18, 2024 for the final hearing of the suits two Ghanaians filed against the passing of the Family Values Bill by Parliament.
