National Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi has described the leader of government business, Alexander Afenyo Markins as the most incompetent Parliament leader in the history of Ghana.
He said the reason that Parliament is at where it is today is because of the failure of Afenyo Markin as a leader. He also mentioned that, even his own people have shown lack of confidence in him, thereby demonstrating his failure in parliamentary proceedings.
He made these statements on the back on Parliament’s indefinite suspension following NPP’s boycott of sitting on November 7, 2024. He said Afenyo Markin has refused to lead as a leader but rather allowed ego and arrogance to lead him.
