The 27 individuals remanded by the Mpraeso Circuit Court in connection with the alleged kidnapping of Abetifihene, Kwaku Adontenhene Akyemfour Asiedu Agyeman III, have been granted bail.

The court, presided over by Her Ladyship Adwoa Akyemaa Ofosu, issued the bail with each suspect granted GHC 20,000 bail and two sureties.
They are scheduled to return to court on December 19, 2024, for further proceedings.
Following the court’s ruling, the lawyer representing the accused, Nkrabea Effah Dartey, expressed satisfaction with the court’s decision to grant bail.
