A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team has threatened violence ahead of the 2024 elections.
According to the NDC man, on 8th December if John Mahama is not declared winner what will happen will happen.
Speaking on live TV, the NDC man stated, “8 pm, 8th December, if President Mahama is not declared as the winner of the elections, I am telling you, what will happen will happen.
“If you know what is coming you will go and wear a metal hat, if the NPP and the EC, Jean Mensa, and Bossman Aasre know what is coming my brother they will wear a metal hat”, he added.
The NDC man further reiterated, “They said they won’t audit it; they said no forensic audit, I also want to assure you today 8 pm 8th December if President Mahama is not declared as the winner of the elections I am telling you, what will happen will happen”.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akufo Dampare has been assuring Ghanaians, that the country will continue to enjoy peace after the December polls.
According to IGP Dampare, people who think they can come out and make statements to intimidate life will become uncomfortable during the 2024 elections.
