The Deputy communication officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Malik Basintale has revealed that about 80 percent of Ghanaians owe MTN Qwikloan.

According to him, more than half of Ghanaians owe MTN Qwikloan indicates the state of Ghana’s economy under the Akufo-Addo Bawumia government.

Malik Basintale is quoted by GHONE TV saying, “80% of Ghanaians are owing MTN Qwikloan, that is the state of the economy”.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was touted to Ghanaians as the economic Wizkid and economic messiah in opposition but fast forward to today, Ghana is back on an IMF program this time with him being the vice president of the country with the cedi depreciating to the dollar rapidly.
