Equatorial Guinea officials Baltasar Engonga the man involved in the 400 sex tapes with various married women has been detained in prison over embezzlement of funds.
He will also be charged with an offense against public health if he is found to have an STD, Equatorial Guinea’s Attorney General, Nzang Nguema assured state television, TVGE.
The scandal has been described as the biggest sex scandal Equatorial Guinea has ever witnessed.
In the leak tapes circulating online, Engonga is seen having sexual intercourse with various married women, including his brother’s wife, cousin, the Director General of Police’s wife, about 20 of the country’s ministers’ wives, and a sister of the President of Equatorial Guinea.
Information gathered that the 400 sex tapes were retrieved during an investigation of the official for alleged fraud and released online to the public.
