3 Girls arrested for brutal murder of 16-year-old BECE graduate

Three teenage girls are currently in police custody for allegedly killing a 16-year-old Dennis Owusu Ansah, a recent BECE graduate who was expected to start school on Thursday, 7th November 2024.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred following a misunderstanding between Dennis and one of the teenage girls when the three friends were escorting one of the friends home.

Sources reveal that during the altercation, the girl allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Dennis in the rib area, resulting in severe bleeding.
He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The incident happened on Monday night at Anloga in the Ashanti region at about 7:30pm.
The boy’s mother and brother expressed shock at the tragic incident and are calling for justice to be served.
