Ace Broadcast Journalist Captain Smart has called out the Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil.
Captain Smart claims Pastor Mensa Otabil is becoming a hypocrite for not commenting on issues relating to the cedi depreciating against the dollar when he used to hold press conferences to speak big English when the dollar to cedi was only 4 cedis.
Speaking on Onua Maakye on Onua TV, Captain Smart stated, “Where is Dr. Mensah Otabil, where is he? I am surprised he is quiet, I love you and I respect you but this morning I will tell you in plain language, you are becoming a hypocrite, everyone is afraid to tell you but I will, Old man Mensah Otabil you are becoming a hypocrite, the huge press conference you organized and used big English have those radio stations collapsed.
“At that time the dollar was a 3 cedis pastor Mensah Otabil preached in church telling Ghanaians the dollar would reach 10 cedis, and that when it gets to 10 cedis the economy would collapse”, he added.
Captain Smart boldly revealed that in those days Mensa Otabil was campaigning for the NPP because he wanted land to build his church on.
“Today as we are speaking the dollar is not 3 cedis it is not 4 the dollar is 16 cedis 50 pesewas so why is he quiet? Or do ICGC congregant buy their dollar at 3 cedis, why are you quiet I am surprised, or has Mensah Otabil left the country?” He asked.
Captain Smart sarcastically answered his question claiming Mensah Otabil has left Ghana for three years now.
According to the broadcaster John Mahama has now become an angel to Ghanaians.
