A woman identified as Brittany Barksdale, has shot and killed her 10 year old nephew, Kayden Williams.

According to reports, she was being careless with the gun and fired the shot up the ceiling, hitting her nephew upstairs in the head.
The police tried saving the young boys life when the arrived at the scene but it was late.
Brittany Barksdale has been charged with reckless homicide, awaiting prosecution.
