A video has emerged of some Nursing students interrupting the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh with their chants.
According to the report, the Nursing trainee students are students of the Korle Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training College.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was delivering his campaign message when the Nursing trainee students interrupted him with their chants.
In the viral video, the supercharge Nursing trainee students strongly chanted “we want Allawa, we want Allawa” at Napo when he visited their campus to campaign for the NPP.
Trainee Nurses have been constantly on the necks of the NPP government demanding their trainee allowances which they campaigned with in the 2016 elections.
Meanwhile, at a campaign event at the LEKMA Nursing Training College in September, Dr. Bawumia claimed that nursing trainees’ delays in allowances were better than cancellations, an indication that the government was paying nursing training allowances.
