Leader and Founder of Anointed Palace Church, Rev. Obofour has added his voice to the ongoing conversation surrounding the demise of two girls and Bishop Salifu’s son.
In one of his services he urged Ghanaians to forgive the sins of Bishop Salifu’s son following a tragic accident.
Expressing empathy for the victims and their families, he lamented the unfortunate circumstances and called on other religious leaders to join him in asking for forgiveness for the pain caused by the incident.
“What happened to Salifu Amoako could have happened to any man of God. When I watch how he came out in tear to plead I’m reminded that what happened to him could have happened to anyone else”.
“He’s a very good man of God who respects everyone around him and very humble on his behalf I ask that Ghanaians forgive him it was an accident. I pray that God consoles and strengthens the families who lost their children” he stated.
He emphasized that his son attends the same school as the son of Bishop Salifu and blamed the incident on youthful exuberance.
“They are children, youth exuberance makes children take silly decisions. He is sorry so please forgive him” he said.
