Chief Meteorological Officer/Forecaster at the Ghana Meteorological Agency, Felicity Ahafianyo, told Ghanaians the agency had no forecast for Ghanaians on live television.
The no forecast day came about because of a striking action embarked on by employees of the public services workers’ union.
Their strike action is based on what they call unfair payment structure under the single spine salary structure.
During a live show on GTV where Felicity was called to give the update, this was the conversation that ensured between her and the presenter, Valencia.
Valencia: Good morning Felicity, how is our weather looking like today?
Felicity: Good morning Valencia I hope you’re doing very well. Today the weather is on strike. Unfortunately we will not be able to give the weather update. We are part of the public workers union and the strike is ongoing. And we’re not able to come up with a forecast for today.
