Media personality, Nana Romeo has voiced his frustration after being denied the opportunity to speak at the recent meeting between Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and members of the creative industry.
In a recent interview on UTV’s United Showbiz show, Nana Romeo revealed that despite being the first to raise his hand when questions were invited, he was intentionally ignored.
“When it was time to ask questions they only gave the opportunity to their own people to ask the questions because, when they asked us to ask questions I was the first to raise yet still not one called me” he said.
He noted that the organizers responsible for selecting participants to ask questions were biased stating that despite his eagerness to speak, he was intentionally passed over.
“I even called KOKA to alert him that my hand was up but he kept giving excuses that he’s coming but he never called me and even passed the microphone to someone behind me. At a point, I asked myself why exactly they invited me because the questions I took with me to ask I took them back home” he indicated.
According to him, he only wanted to ask and find out why Ghana Airlines was still not operating after all these years,
“We always brag and boast of people flying in from the diaspora to spend time in Ghana especially in December so it’s definitely bringing in money but not even one politician spoke about Ghana Airlines when they were delivering their manifesto so all airlines decided not to come in and out of the country how will we transport these foreigners into the country?” he quizzed.
