unwarranted attacks on speaker must stop – Friends of Democracy

a group calling itself Friends of Democracy has expressed concern about what they say is unwarranted attacks and insults directed at Speaker Bagbin, on the matter.

These attacks according to the group are not only unjustified but also disrespectful to parliamentary procedures and the high office of the Speaker of Parliament.

In a statement Signed, by the Secretary of the Friends of Democracy, Akwasi Kwarteng, the group noted that it is premature and inappropriate for individuals to resort to insults and attacks on the Speaker’s integrity when a ruling is yet to be made on the matter.
