Two day rain causes severe flooding at Kaneshie market

Kaneshie, a central business hub in the capital has been severely flooded following a two day rain in the nation’s capital, Accra.

The businesses of many have been affected as their shops have been flooded, with some losing their wares as they have been destroyed by the rains.

The Kaneshie area has become a dangerous place in recent times whenever it rains in Accra. The rains always cause severe flooding in the market and even the main road, causing heavy vehicular traffic and in some causes leaving many stranded.

Floods are taking over several parts of Accra as it has been raining for over an hour now. Some individuals are currently stuck at various points on their way home as they struggle to navigate through the floods.
