A lifeless body of a man believed to be in his 30s illegal Miner has been retrieved from the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North region the unknown man was found dead after a mining pit in which he was mining, caved-in and trapped him dead.
In a viral video the lifeless body was seen by other illegal miners been transported from the mining site into an aboboya track.
The body was decomposing when it was found.
Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai farming community area has been inundated with a number of illegal mining pits, posing danger to lives and properties
The community members have therefore raised concerns about the increase of illegal mining activities in the area.
