Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, has shared a striking prophecy in which he claims that the spirits of the land and waters have expressed their anger toward the current government, led by the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Speaking to his congregation on Sunday, October 6, 2024, the reverend emphasized that these spirits are upset with the NPP and have decided that the ruling party must be removed from power.
According to Rev. Owusu-Bempah, he had a spiritual encounter where the spirits of the land came to him, revealing their dissatisfaction with the current leadership. He said, “You have the spirits of the land coming to you to tell you that the person occupying the seat is sinning against us, so we want to take his seat away from him. So, servant of God Almighty, stay out of this.”
He also spoke of spirits from the waters, who conveyed their grievances, stating that the actions of the current government were causing harm. Despite their power to take drastic action, the spirits expressed restraint, akin to a mother’s love for her children. “There is a place you go to, and you have spirits of the waters come to you and tell you that, ‘Man of God, we don’t have any issues with you, but they are causing my children and me pain. But as a mother, I don’t kill. I speak to you in anger, not that we don’t have power—we do have power and we can kill—but we have the love of a mother,’” Rev. Owusu-Bempah recounted.
Rev. Owusu-Bempah explained that the spirits have made it clear they want the current leadership removed and have directed him to deliver their message. He added that he attempted to intercede on behalf of the NPP and its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, but even heaven has rejected their plea. “Heaven is upset with the party in power, and the earth is also angry with the government. I have not done anything, so don’t channel your anger towards the prophet of God,” he said.
The preacher has since declared John Dramani Mahama, the candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the winner of the upcoming elections, affirming that the decision comes directly from God, with the spirits of nature supporting this outcome.
Rev. Owusu-Bempah further warned critics within the NPP, stating that he holds the key to their electoral victory. He advised them to humble themselves and seek his help to recapture power in the future, emphasizing that the spirits of the land, waters, and heavens are all aligned against the NPP due to the government’s failure to honor promises, such as building the national cathedral.
