Entertainment critic, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, known by all as Bulldog, has urged President Akufo- Addo to bring back his Secretary, Nana Bediatuo Asante, who is reportedly unwell and receiving treatment in the USA back to Ghana for treatment.

In an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz show, Bulldog argued that since the presidency has confirmed that the Agenda 111 projects are completed and ready to serve patients, it is only right for the president’s secretary to receive treatment back home.

“I learnt he (Bediatuo Asante) is in the US for treatment. We should fly him to Ghana to continue the healing since he is said to be in a stable condition. We have hospitals in the country. The Agenda 111 hospitals are there to help. He could be taken to Korle-Bu or 37 Military Hospital as well,” he said.

He believes that, using our healthcare facilities for such a high-profile case would boost public confidence in the country’s medical system.

“Bringing Bediatuo back to Ghana for his treatment would demonstrate the government’s trust in the healthcare infrastructure it has developed” he added.

Bullgod emphasized that bringing Nana Bediatuo Asante back to Ghana for treatment would demonstrate to Ghanaians that the country’s healthcare system is reliable and capable of managing serious cases.

He expressed concerns about the perception of government officials seeking medical care abroad while local hospitals remain underused, arguing that this practice undermines the credibility of Ghana’s healthcare system.
