Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has asked for the Ashanti Regional and Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi to be arrested.

This comes after Chairman Wontumi attacked Prophet Owusu Bempah for proclaiming a victory for former president John Dramani Mahama.

Shatta Wale, who recently apologized to former president John Dramani Mahama for past misunderstandings seems dissatisfied with Wontumi’s attack on Rev Owusu Bempah.

This statement of his has sparked outrage and debate online.

Although some netizens agree with the dancehall king, others are asking for the chairman of the NPP to choose his words carefully as it can go a long way to affect his party in the upcoming elections.
