Sad – Five lifeless bodies retrieved from the Nwabe River

Five lifeless bodies have been recovered from the Nwabe River by residents of Dabaa in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region.

According to reports the lifeless bodies of the individual are said to have been recovered in the early hours of today 29 October 2024.

The incident occurred when a black Toyota Vitz veered off its lane and fell into the Nwabe River, drowning all five occupants of the vehicle.

Reports gathered suggested that the driver of the Toyota Vitz was a mother and professional dressmaker who was driving her house help and two of her children to school, and later to her workplace.

On her way, she picked up two other passengers, including a man and another girl, for a lift.

Unfortunately, as they approached the bridge over the river, she was startled by a heavy truck, which caused her to fall off the bridge into the river, drowning all five occupants.
