Police on manhunt three students who gang raped female colleague at Mpraeso SHS

Five male students of Mpraeso Senior High School in the Eastern region have been arrested while three more are on the run for allegedly gang raping a 16-year-old female colleague.

The victim, whose name has been withheld narrated that she was raped last Sunday while on her way to the canteen to buy food.

The incident she said occurred on Sunday and there was nobody around to offer help.

“I have been to the hospital for the necessary check up and I want the suspects to face the full rigorous of the law,” she stated.

The headmaster, James Affadu confirmed the incident in an interview with Adom News.

Mr Afadu said the disciplinary committee has dismissed all eight boys and has handed over the case to the police for further investigation and appropriate action.

Meanwhile, the Nkwatia Divisional Police Command is yet to process the suspects to court for prosecution.
