Police cause severe head injury to man; rob him afterwards

A man was chased by police officers until he fell in a canal and suffered severe head injury.

After falling into the canal, the plain clothed policemen stole the victims slippers and money.

The victim was stopped by the policemen who insisted he was involved in online fraud because of his tattoos. The policemen started cocking their guns and threatened to shoot him if he did not speak the truth.

Fearing for his life, the victim started backing away from the police until he broke into a run, resulting in the fall.

This incident took place at the Federal Bus Stop, Ipaja Ayobo Axis in Nigeria.

The victim who was saved by bystanders is unconscious and currently receiving treatment at Lasuth.
