A netizen has trolled the now minority leader Afenyo Markin for losing his position as the majority leader in parliament.
The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, yesterday 17 October 2024 officially declared four parliamentary seats vacant. They include Peter Yaw Kwakye Ackah of Amenfi Central (NDC), Andrew Amoakoh Asiama of Fomena, Kojo Asante of Suhum (NPP), and Cynthia Morrison of Agona West (NPP).
This follows a formal petition submitted by Haruna Iddrisu, an NDC MP, to the Speaker, this led to the NPP majority now being declared the minority in parliament.
Reacting to the development Albert Nat Hyde commonly known as Bongo Ideas trolled Afenyo Markin on X with a picture of him as a majority leader and his current predicament of being a minority leader, his post reads, “One day you’re the loud majority leader; another day you’re the humble minority leader. Life comes at us fast; stay humble! 😂 😂”
