On Wontumi TV on Sunday, October 6, 2024, Chairman Wontumi claimed that Rev. Owusu Bempah’s arrest was plotted by Nana Agradaa now known as Mama Pat. “I saw a video of him claiming that the NPP was responsible for his arrest some time ago, not Agradaa, during an interview”. Wontumi stated.

Wontumi detailed saying, “I don’t even know Agradaa and when the incident happened, I came on TV and radio to defend you. I received a call from Ernest Owusu-Bempah informing me of his arrest. I proceeded and spoke to him, and he narrated that he was arrested without knowing his offense or crime committed”.
