A resident of Hohoe a community in the Volta Region has been lashed for destroying New Patriotic Party posters.

In a viral video sighted the unidentified man was seen receiving ten hot lashes for destroying campaign posters of member of parliament John Peter Amewu, Hohoe Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate.

In a post on Instagram MP John Peter Amewu expressed that he being sabotage by faceless individual destroying his posters, he stated that, “In recent days, we’ve observed deliberate sabotage by faceless individuals who have taken it upon themselves to destroy NPP presidential and parliamentary billboards in Hohoe, as well as tear down posters. This shameful behavior is not only disgraceful but reeks of cowardice and must be strongly condemned”.
