Afrobeats star KiDi who is currently soaring with the success of his latest single, “Lomo Lomo”, has expressed that the song is a blessing to him.
The song, featuring Black Sherif, has taken the music scene by storm, topping charts across Africa and racking up impressive streaming numbers on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Fans and critics alike have embraced the hit.
Speaking in an interview with 3entertainment’s Naphtali Baah, he said, “It’s a blessing. This is why we make music, for people to be happy, for people to catch their vibe, hear the song and love it, so I’m grateful. Shout out to everybody, to my brother Black Sheriff, we have a hit, we have global hit, and we have a national hit and am grateful for that”.
Kidi also disclosed that lots of creative minds came together to produce the captivating tune, which exemplifies the power of collaboration in music.
“That is music for you. Music has no time span, sometimes you release a song it will hit in a day and sometimes it will take three months and sometimes a year. So am super grateful, we had no idea how long it was going to take but it’s here and we are grateful,” he added.
He assured fans to expect more of such amazing tunes from him.
