A Real Madrid football fan has revealed that it would be hard to understand should Xabi Alonso miss out on the Coach of the Year award at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

The coveted award ceremony will be held today in Paris.

According to a Madridista, their former player and legend Xabi Alonso must win the coach of the year after he only lost just one game in 53 matches leading Bayer Leverkusen to their first undefeated Bundesliga title.

He wrote, “It’s hard to understand why Xabi Alonso wouldn’t win Coach of the Year. He lost only one game out of 53 and led Bayer Leverkusen to their first undefeated Bundesliga title”.

Meanwhile, according to reports coming in the Brazilian international Vinicuis Jr would not be the recipient of the world-coveted individual trophy award.
