Ghanaian influencer, Gisela Amponsah who doubles as a panelist on Efia Odo’s “Rants, Bants and Confessions” podcast has generated attention on social media by emphatically stating that she will never cook or clean for her husband.

During a recent episode on their show, she and her best friend, Ama Burland revealed that they don’t see the point in cooking, cleaning, or washing for their boyfriends or husbands.

Their comments came in response to Efia Odo’s assertion that a girlfriend or wife is expected to handle these household duties.

The duo disagreed with her, arguing that it is not mandatory for women to take on these roles and noted that, like men, women also work and may not have the time to do so.

“I don’t cook for my man, and I will not come home from my busy schedule to cook, no I won’t do that” Gisela emphasized.
