Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, has revealed a prophecy that both heaven and earth are upset with the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government. Speaking to his congregation on Sunday, October 6, 2024, the renowned preacher highlighted the spiritual discontent surrounding the ruling party and prophesied its defeat in the upcoming December general elections.

Rev. Owusu-Bempah stated that the NPP has lost divine favor, adding that the leadership has not only angered God but has also incurred the wrath of nature due to environmental degradation under the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government. “Heaven is upset with the party in power, and the earth is also angry with the government,” he said.

The preacher recounted his encounters with spiritual forces, including the spirits of the land and waters, which have expressed their anger at the government. He explained that these spirits, representing the natural elements of Ghana, are displeased with the harm done to the environment and the broken promises made by the leadership. The spirits have allegedly demanded the removal of the ruling party from power as a consequence of their actions.

Rev. Owusu-Bempah further explained that he had initially sought divine intercession on behalf of the NPP and its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, but God had rejected these efforts. He urged the NPP to accept the inevitable outcome and avoid directing any anger towards him as a prophet. “I have not done anything, so don’t channel your anger towards the prophet of God,” he added.

The preacher has since declared John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, as the divinely chosen winner of the 2024 elections. Rev. Owusu-Bempah noted that the spiritual rejection of the NPP extends beyond the heavens to include the earth, rivers, and trees, all of which have turned against the government due to the leadership’s failure to honor promises and address environmental concerns.
