According to Bishop Salifu Ghanaians do not know the truth so the only thing they have is to talk.

Speaking to his congregation on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Alive Chapel International for the first time since the tragedy, Bishop Salifu said, “If you are not comfortable just get up and go. Yesterday I was somewhere. We were sitting down, and the lady was talking to her children about the issue. But I was not comfortable, so I told Pastor Dan, to open the car and let me go and sit inside. I can’t handle it.

“People don’t know the truth, so Ghanaians talk. The only thing they have is talking. Did you hear what I said? Ghana here, they don’t have anything, the only thing they have is talking. Talk is cheap, don’t go and say things to add more pain to my life. Stay calm, stay quiet, the case is still in court”.

Bishop Salifu also condemned some church members who physically attacked Journalists after court proceedings on Thursday.

He said, “Do you know the damage you have done in my life? Now I am fighting what has happened to me and the media is fighting me. The case is now in court. We don’t go to court to fight, but we go there to interpret the law.”

Bishop Salifu also noted that the members who came to the court and attacked the journalist are very lucky they were not arrested.

“Some of you were lucky that you were not arrested. Some of you went there to mess up. By now, you should be in jail. So, I don’t expect any one of you, I have not called you to come and fight for me. Now listen to me, I have not called you to come and fight for me”, he added.
