The National Sports Authority (NSA) has in a statement sent a strong warning to fans ahead of the Blackstar’s game against Sudan.

The NSA warns any individual or group who displays political materials or engages in political protests will be arrested.

Reports suggest certain groups plan to use the event as a platform for protests, particularly against illegal mining (galamsey) and the government.

NSA revealed in their statement that security forces will be deployed at the Accra Sports Stadium to enforce this rule.

They also reminded Ghanaians that CAF rules prohibit political displays at football events.
