A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Otchere-Darko has reacted to a video of National Democratic Congress MPs marching in parliament after Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin adjourned the house indefinitely.
The NDC caucus leaders in parliament have expressed satisfaction with Speaker Alban Bagbin’s decision to adjourn parliamentary proceedings indefinitely due to a lack of quorum.
This ruling followed a contentious session marked by disputes between the NPP and NDC MPs regarding the Majority’s composition.
In a video shared by Gabby Otchere-Darko on social media X, the NDC MPs led by Hon. Sam George were happily marching in parliament as they sang along.
Reacting to the development in parliament Gabby Otchere-Darko wrote on X, “The honorable men and women responsible for passing laws and other bills to govern our nation and with your help will be returned on 7 January 2025 to continue doing what they know best”.
