According to Solomon Owusu, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been a total waste of the Ghanaians people’s time.

Speaking on TV3 New Day he said, “Total waste of our time, you have power today, and you are telling us that as for the power you have given now it is not necessary, wait for 2025 before you begin constructing 2000 megawatts of solar energy, what have you done with the almost 8 years that you have got. How many megawatts through solar energy where you able to give this country?

“Think of it I have power today; you brought us E-levy now I saw some people holding placards at the Tetteh Quarshie interchange vote for us, so we removed E-levy is it not an insult to your intelligence? You gave us E-levy you have the power to remove that tax today you say no I won’t do that unless 2025, you brought the betting tax, and you say vote for me again I will remove it what sort of human being are we dealing with?”, he added.

Solomon Asante further revealed that Dr. Bawumia is not the pioneer of digitalization, saying, “I am so disappointed with the over-concentration of policies like digitalization. What does digitalization have to do with the planting of corn? We must not busy ourselves in this charade before Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia came up with digitalization my boys at the ghetto were doing Yahoo Yahoo, who told him he brought digitalization into this country, you get my point”.

“We have to be serious as a country, the people are hungry if we are going to focus on someone who is in power now, the vice president is not interesting, he is the vice president of the land now and he is saying when I get the opportunity, what are you doing with the power you have today”, Solomon Asante said.
