The tragic incidents have sent shockwaves through the community, with rumors suggesting a connection to a missing ¢2000.

Local reports indicate that the owner of the missing money, Nana Kwabena Nyarko, a Fanti Chief in the community, allegedly invoked curses in an attempt to recover the funds.

It is claimed that his grandson stole the money and used part of it to buy food, sharing it among his school friends.

Some of the students affected by the alleged curses are reportedly receiving treatment at various prayer camps.

Nana Jatuah, the Krontihene of Assin Kyiano, expressed that traditional leaders are not only investigating the mysterious deaths but are also working to pacify the angry gods to cleanse the community and restore peace.

He encouraged parents not to withdraw their children from school, assuring them that efforts are underway to address the situation.

Meanwhile, Nana Kwabena Nyarkoh has denied invoking any curses related to the incidents.
