“For the fact that a child can go and take a car we should discipline our children this is negligence and indiscipline, I am serious, if you are a parent and your child knows how to drive you should know, the fact that he can drive and you don’t know he will do other things that you will not know about”, Nana Yaa Jantuah added.

The East Legon accident involved 16-year-old Elrad Salifu Amoako son of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako which led to the deaths of two beautiful girls.

According to the Ghana Police Service statement, Elrad was driving a Jaguar SUV crashed into a 4×4 Acura vehicle driven by Joseph Ackah with four occupants.

The collision caused both vehicles to catch fire, flaming beyond recognition.

Meanwhile, the Service has since picked up Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako and Mouha Amoako, parents of the suspect driver involved in the fatal accident that claimed two lives at East Legon on Saturday, 12th October 2024.
