The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has said Ghanaians should demand proof when the NPP tells them the NDC would cancel the Free SHS.
According to Prof. Jane Naana Opoku the NDC and John Mahama have stated on numerous occasions their intention to improve the existing Free SHS policy by the NPP government.
Speaking on a campaign platform, she said, “When someone makes an allegation get that person to prove, they claim when you come you will cancel it, is it true? the one that says we would cancel it where is his evidence that is all”.
“I have said on numerous occasions that anyone who listens to John Mahama speaks, today when you even cough, it can be recorded, so if he had stood somewhere to say that, they should play the tape so we listen, why can’t they play the tape after claiming we will cancel it”, Prof. Jane Naana added.
She further reiterated that Ghanaians should demand evidence when the NPP makes such an allegation and revealed that the NDC has gone passed the matter.
