Presidential candidate and leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, known as Cheddar, has uncovered a 30-year-old hidden galamsey pit.
According to Nana Kwame Bediako, during a night tour of a galamsey site a video he shared some weeks ago, he observed that when illegal miners are prevented from working during the day, they continue their activities while the rest of the world sleeps.
“These miners come from Mali, Niger, and China, and when we stop them during the day, they resume at night. You might see an area that appears untouched, but by morning, it has been mined. In just two hours, they can cause significant damage,” he lamented.
In a viral video, Cheddar was spotted chanting together with a group of his team, “LET’S VOTE THEM OUT, LET’S VOTE THEM OUT”
According to reports he and his team uncovered a 30-year-old hidden galamsey pit, exposing the true orchestrators of the illegal mining in Ghana. The guards protecting the pits revealed that galamsey operations are significantly financed by politicians and Land cartels.
Cheddar has been on an Anas-like mission exposing the deep roots of the illegal mining menace known as galamsey to Ghanaians and the world.
