The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Samuel Atta Akyea has dismissed Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah’s recent prophecies about the upcoming December 7 elections, urging people to view them as human projections rather than divine certainties.

The leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry recently prophesied that John Dramani Mahama would win the 2024 elections, calling him a man with a good heart, chosen by God to lead the nation again.

Atta Akyea emphasized that elections are decided by the people’s will, expressed through the ballot box, not by supernatural predictions.

He stressed the importance of focusing on the issues at hand and allowing voters to make informed decisions based on policies and leadership qualities.

Samuel Atta Akyea made these comments in an interview with an Accra-based radio station, cautioning against placing too much importance on such prophecies.

He acknowledged that people hold different religious or spiritual beliefs but underscored the democratic principle that elections are ultimately decided by the people’s will.
