“If you lose your mind in the NPP, you head straight to the NDC,” Jumah said, implying that joining the NDC is a sign of poor judgment. He suggested that Alan Kyerematen, by stepping away from the NPP, has made an irrational move and will eventually realize his mistake.
Jumah was direct in his critique of the opposition, insinuating that the NDC attracts individuals who have lost their way politically. “Once you gain sense, you come back to the NPP,” he added, clearly stating his belief that the NPP is the party of reason and sound judgment, while the NDC is for those who lack it.
He also alleged that the NDC, led by former President John Dramani Mahama, is behind Kyerematen’s independent bid, with the goal of undermining NPP’s voter base in the Ashanti Region. Jumah confidently dismissed this strategy, saying, “Ghanaians are not foolish anymore, and they see through these senseless plots.” He concluded by reiterating that Alan would return to the NPP once he “regains his senses.”
